Our Mission
Fostering opportunities for different generations to interact and develop mutually beneficial experiences, and share acquired knowledge and skills that create long-term relationships while focusing on the care, education, and enrichment of all clients.
We partner with family service organizations, medical programs, meal preparation programs, and much more. Our upcoming medical partnership will provide supervised doctor visits for routine medical appointments without parental or guardian presence. To ensure every child has the basic necessities, our partnership with AHEART, provides each infant with emergency infant items. Those are just some of the partners that enrich the lives of our clients.
Alternative Care for an Aging Parent
Sons and daughters can drop off their children, parents, or elderly family members at one location and have peace about the well being of their loved ones while they diligently work. You don’t have to worry about visiting nursing homes or placing your loved one in an assisted care facility. Our staff can dispense medications, give individual one-on-one care, and provide the safety and comfort of your loved one. Your family member will have plenty of things to do as they interact with other seniors and younger children in the multiple programs that Golden Gate Community Center has available.

One area is dedicated to the education of young minds, while the other area is dedicated to the enrichment of older minds and bodies.
We offer specialized education and care for young children and elders of various ages. Our daycare for children is for preschool aged children. Our adult social daycare is for retired elders aged 65 and up and can also provide necessary health assistance.
Research shows that a body in motion stays in motion. We have a fitness room dedicated to elders for stretching, light exercise, yoga classes, and low impact aerobics. Fun classes have been shown to improve function, relieve stress, increase strength and flexibility.
Our onsite medical facility establishes care plans for the elderly and preschool children. For the health and safety of all clients, our medical employees and medical partnerships are required for care management, record keeping, and illness prevention and/or containment.
A non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential infant items to low income or no-income guardians of infants under the age of two. A referral form of eligibility is necessary and required to receive free monthly assistance.
Enrolling your preschooler or elderly parent is easy. Just give us a call or come in for a scheduled tour. You can fill out our applications onsite with Golden Gate Community Center’s facility director.
